The Freedom Undervest is a soft stretch-and-compression garment designed to carry any LVAD controller and batteries close to your body, discreetly beneath everyday clothing. Used with HeartMate and HeartWare LVAD systems, it gives LVAD recipients a more balanced and comfortable alternative to carrying a shoulder bag.

Fit and care

The white Freedom Undervest is unisex and generally true to size, so begin with the shirt size you normally wear. Its stretch-and-compression fabric accommodates a range of body types. The fit should be comfortably snug without feeling overly tight or restricting breathing or movement. If you are between sizes or carry more weight through the midsection, choose the larger size. Machine wash cold. Fasten the hook-and-loop closures before washing. Air drying is recommended.
